Pockets

So at Girl's State, I met a few totally awesome people. One of the girls I met told me about her character Pockets from a story she and her friends were working on and I fell in love with the character. And so I decided to draw her, again. I did so once there, but it was in pencil and I gave the drawing to the character's creator. This time I added a forest background, unlike the one first drawn when it was just Pockets.

I doubt blue is Pocket's actual hair color, or even close to it, but I thought she looked cute with blue hair. I dunno if there are butterflies in the world Pocket lives in, but I can just imagine her chasing them around until she caught them. She's gone and chased one so far that her friend Romeo hasn't caught up to her, which maybe a spot of trouble until the two find each other again.

I especially like the background I did; which took a good long time to figure out because I kept forgetting which brushes I was using, heh. And Pocket's tail, which probably isn't blue either. I don't know if Pocket usually has patches on her pants, it was something that just seemed to fit her.

*Pockets belongs to a friend of mine and not me, I just doodle her for fun ^^ If I draw her again, I'll have to see about putting Romeo in too, he seems like a fun guy to draw
